Rethinking Reentry: Mindfully Meeting Outcomes Workshop

This workshop is 1 ½ hour in length and will provide live instructor led training. With the many changes to the corrections and justice system the need to apply highly effective case management and career advising services is imperative to the health of our workforce. Working with justice-involved youth and adults requires a set of skills that push upon the social service boundaries and go well beyond training and job placement services. This workshop will explore the skills needed to successfully engage, serve and retain justice-involved individuals to promote the success of programs, participant and our workforce. Attendees will learn the best practices and skills required to effectively serve justice-involved participants. We will discuss how to engage corrections and other justice partners for referral, recruitment and service delivery

Along with exploring best practices for designing programs that address the needs of participants beyond workforce services.
